Dr. Thomas Sprouse received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry. He completed clinical rotations at the Salt Lake City VA Hospital (where he spent time at the University of Utah’s Moran Eye Center), Vision Source Evanston, Cheyenne Vision Clinic, and Icon Eye Care. During his clinical rotations he was able to gain experience in treating and managing ocular disease, managing dry eye, and fitting contact lenses, among other skills. Before joining Family Focus Eyecare Dr. Sprouse was in private practice in the Tri-cities, Washington.

Dr. Sprouse is the oldest of three brothers and was raised in Heber City, Utah. He served a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in São Paolo, Brazil (2011-2013). He obtained his undergraduate degree from Utah State University (Go Aggies!) where he majored in biology (human biology emphasis) and minored in both chemistry and Portuguese.

When not helping patients with their eyecare needs Thomas enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. His interests include playing and watching basketball, wakeboarding, skiing, hiking, and exploring the pacific northwest with his family.
